Just Align It

The Goal is Nothing. The Challenge is Peace.

"Just Align It" is not a game. It’s an experiment in digital futility and human obsession.

We’ve given you a single glowing pixel. We’ve given you the most precise tools ever invented: your arrow keys. And we’ve placed you before an infinite canvas defined by a one-pixel grid.

Your only task: Move that pixel. Center it.

You have no lives. No timer. No power-ups. Only the existential anxiety that comes from knowing the perfect center of this window is a decimal coordinate — and your pixel can only exist in whole numbers.

Features (What Really Matters)

1:1 Precision: Each arrow tap moves your pixel exactly one pixel. Feel the great lie of absolute precision with every micro-adjustment.

Blessed Blindness: The game won’t tell you how close you are. It forces you to trust your eyes, your soul, and your OCD. It’s a test of faith in alignment.

Judgment of the Decimals: When you give up and hit “Confirm!”, the game punishes you with the truth. A dramatic zoom turns the grid into a landscape of blocks, revealing the microscopic — yet mathematically unbridgeable — distance that separates you from absolute zero.

Absurd Scoring: Your success is measured by Achieved Precision, an obscenely large number (X×10Y) that documents the magnitude of your millimetric failure. Try to beat your own record… knowing you’ll never be enough.

Developer’s Note

What do we do when perfection is a concept, not a place? Why does your brain insist on wasting hours on this task?

"Just Align It" is a critique of the need for order in a chaotic universe, served as a one-pixel browser game. It’s a rabbit hole where mathematics mock your effort.

Warning: It might be more addictive than it seems. Or maybe you’re already too aligned with the absurd.

Play in your browser!
The center awaits you… and rejects you.
